Page 16 Toccoa Amateur Radio Society 2 Meter Net Formats Toccoa Amateur Radio Society 2 Meter Net General Format 1. “This is (Your Call Sign) calling CQ, CQ, CQ to the Toccoa Amateur Radio Society 2 Meter Net.” 2. “Your Net Control for this evening is (Your Call Sign, Name, and Location)” 3. “In the event of an Emergency this net will be activated. At this time do we have any Emergency or Priority traffic? If so, please call Net Control.” 4. “This is a directed net that is held on Monday and Thursday nights at 8:00 pm local time. We invite ALL Amateurs in range of the repeater who have the license to operate on this frequency to join us.” 5. “When checking-in, please check-in in your proper alphabetical group, give your call sign, name, and location, list your traffic, announcements and informals, and indicate if you will remain for the rag chew.” 6. Now I will make a call for stations which are mobile or portable, mobile or portable check-ins call (Your call sign).” 7. “At this time I will make a call for stations A THROUGH M, Alpha – Mike, call (your call sign).” 8. “At this time I will make a call for stations N THROUGH Z, November Through Zulu, call (your call sign).” 9. “Now I will call for stations all the way through the alphabet, A through Z, Alpha through Zulu, call (your call sign).” *** Note: After Net Control has taken care of ALL traffic, announcements and informals, GO to #10 10. “This is (your call sign) now closing the formal portion of the net. Give net report to the Net Manager (On the Air) – (Net number, Date, Total check-ins, if you had traffic or announcements and if so how many). 13. “This is (your call sign) now securing the Toccoa Amateur Society 2 Meter Net, and returning the repeater back to normal amateur activity.”
