Osborne Wood Products, Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of wood components, such as Kitchen Island Legs, Table Legs, Bun Feet, Corbels, and more; located in Toccoa, Georgia. In addition to keeping a wide variety of products in stock in ten to twelve different wood types, Osborne Wood Products does custom work, as well. The company has been doing business since 1979, and has grown tremendously. What started out as a small furniture business in a garage has become an international business in a large facility, which even includes a separate building as an Employee Fitness Center. Though Osborne Wood Products only boasts about twenty five employees, they now do business in all fifty states, as well as in Canada and the Caribbean, with a still-increasing international market. This growth has occurred even with setbacks like a devastating fire in 1994, which destroyed 100% of inventory and machinery. In the face of that fire, it was with the support of the community that Osborne Wood Products was able to rebuild. From vendors extending credit, to friends lending their shops as manufacturing space, everyone displayed their eagerness to lend a hand. This support shown by the community, as well as a dedication to being a business that operates under the lordship of Jesus Christ, has encouraged Osborne Wood Products, Inc. to be a business that is actively involved in their community. In addition to active involvement in local causes and organizations, Osborne Wood Products has opened its doors to tours from Stephens County Middle School; focused on helping the students learn the importance of getting a good job, and what steps they can take to move in that direction this early in their lives. Osborne Wood Products, Inc. has had a tremendous beginning, and is looking forward to what the future holds.
